Because of the outpouring of generosity that we have experienced among our donors, we have been able to give away over $1,000,000 in cash scholarships over the past five years. We were giving away $1,200 to each student annually when our Foundation began in 2007. Effective December 1, 2012, we have increased our cash scholarships to a minimum of $6,000 for each seminary student on an annual basis, plus supplements to those who are married and/or have children. Yet, we are mindful that it costs approximately $40,000 per year for a full-time student living on campus at seminaries such as Emory, Duke, or Asbury, so we still have a long way to go!
